You can easily program in C and C on Mac OSX, but unless you stick to pure command-line interface programs and pure ansi-c, it's difficult to make cross platform C and C programs. If you want to build cross platform compilable programs in C and C with a graphical user interface, then you need to use a cross platform GUI-toolkit like Qt (not Quicktime) from trolltech.
